Purchases of goods

We offer refunds on the purchase of goods, in the event:

  • The product arrives to you in a damaged condition

  • The product is defective

  • You have changed your mind and the product is no longer wanted

Purchase of services

We do not offer refunds on the provision of services including but not limited to:

  • Book readings

  • Author visits

Eligibility

To complete your return, you must be the person who purchased the product from us.

Timeframe

The eligible returns period for products lasts for 14 days after you receive any product. If 14 days have gone by since delivery of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.

Notifying us

In order to exercise your right of cancellation for a refund, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement no later than 14 days from when you received the product. You must contact us via our contact form, or via email to caroleannemckissock@gmail.com

Product condition

Products are only eligible for return if they are:

  • Unused

  • In the original condition you received it in

  • Unaltered

  • Non-personalised (see section below for personalised products)

Our discretion

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any products that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

Personalised items

Where items have been made or personalised for you, they are non-refundable unless received damaged or defective. If you have requested personalisation, please be sure to confirm you are happy with the terms of sale on all items prior to purchasing.

Initiating a return

To arrange a return for a replacement product or refund, you can contact us via our contact form, or email us via caroleannemckissock@gmail.com

Please clearly state the reason for requesting the return, and if you would prefer a replacement product or a refund.

We will respond to your query as quickly as possible, however in the event of unforeseen delays it might take us 5 business days to respond to you. If you have not received a response within 5 business days, we might have missed your message due to human or technical error, please contact us again.

Returning goods to us

Returns will only be approved after we confirm acceptance of your return case in writing via email. Do not send any items to us unless we provide written approval via email. We cannot guarantee any replacement products or refunds without written approval.

When your return case is approved, we will provide you with the address to return the goods to.

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item, and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your replacement product or refund which we will process within seven business days after the returned item is received.

Upon our inspection of your returned item, if the product condition does not meet the criteria stated within this agreement, we reserve the right to not provide a refund or replacement. If you would like to retain your product, you will be responsible for arranging a postal collection of your product from us.

Cost of returning goods to us

Products damaged in transit to you

All our products are inspected and packed carefully using protective packaging materials. In the unlikely event that damage should occur in transit, or should the product be defective, we will arrange for the goods to be collected from you at our expense.

Products no longer wanted

If you change your mind and no longer wish to purchase the product, you can send it back to us for a refund. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refund or replacement timescales

We will reimburse you or dispatch your replacement product no later than 5 business days from the day on which we receive the returned goods. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
